Gina Bates NP-C
Gina Bates is nationally certified as a nurse practitioner with over eight years of nursing experience, the majority of which focused on providing care to patients in the emergency department to the practice. Gina graduated with honors from the University of Texas, earning a Master’s degree of Science in Nursing. Gina was personally trained in rheumatology by Dr. Pocurull and continues to attend musculoskeletal ultrasound conferences to become even more proficient at performing ultrasound-guided joint injections.
Kelle Harper, FNP-BC
Kelle Harper RN, MSN, FNP-BC, joined our staff in April 2008. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center after obtaining her Master's Degree in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington. She received her Bachelors degree at Tarleton State University and has practiced in Emergency medicine as well as hospital administration and medical-surgical nursing. Kelle received the Nursing Excellence Award in her graduating class and also has been recognized as a Great 100 Nurse of Dallas and surrounding areas. She is a member of Alpha Chi and Phi Eta Sigma. Kelle recently published an acuity tool she created to enhance hospital communication in the Nursing Administration Quarterly that has been well received and is now being implemented in several hospitals nationwide. She is married to Lloyd Harper, a real estate agent and has two beautiful children, Duce and Charli who also reside in the Brazos Valley.
Mignone Bishop - Practice/Billing Manager
Mignone has been with the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Clinic since the practice began. With nursing honors from Blinn, she brings with her over 15 years of billing experience & over 20 years of nursing experience in physician based practices. This year Mignone brought insurance billing in-house. With the changing technology in medicine today, from electronic medical records to online consultations, making AOCBV the first practice in the area to have automatic lab download, was also a great accomplishment. She and her husband David have lived in the Brazos Valley for over 19 years and have 6 children and 2 beautiful grandchildren.
