PATIENT FOCUSED HEALTHCARE
The EAC Program consists of a group of healthcare professionals who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and the development of individual treatment plans. Once referred (either self referred or by another physician) to the EAC, We will see you within one to two weeks and will communicate closely with your primary doctor to coordinate your care.
Evaluations by Dr. Ricardo Pocurull, a board certified rheumatologist, assisted by a highly trained nurse practitioner, Gina Bates, NP-C, will include a detailed medical history and expert joint examination, appropriate blood work, x-rays, joint ultrasound, and perhaps MRI. The therapeutic plan may include various anti-rheumatic treatments, pain management techniques, and an ongoing care. This patient-focused care will help educate you about ways to enjoy every day activities more.
